ECONOMIC REHABILITATION SCHEME


This is the first time implementing the Economic Development Programme to the transgender, it is in a opinion that the Bankers may not come forward for giving bank consent to the transgender. Hence, it is proposed to provide financial assistance to the units to those who have undergone training in these (4) training programmes given by the women finance corporation , besides the above if any transgender trained in any other trades seeks financial assistance, such transgender may also be considered to provide financial Assistance to establish units for their livelihood. It is proposed financial assistance with an estimated cost of Rs. 50,000/- per unit as subsidy without linkage of bank portion and some units with Bank linkage to meet the cost of machinery, equipment, rental charges and working capital etc. under the scheme of Economic Rehabilitation. 100% financial assistance directly by way of subsidy to the units up to Rs.50,000/- unit cost. Financial Assistance for above Rs.50,000/- unit cost would be linked to the credit component of bank. The pattern of assistance is as detailed below.

3) Rs.1.01 Lakh to 2.00 Lakh unit cost 70% 30%
4) Rs. 2.01 Lakh to 10.00 Lakh 60% or 5.00 Lakhs whichever is less 40% or the balance

a) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
i) Must have an Identify card issued by the concerned District Collector (or) a certificate issued by the competent Authority.
(ii) Age Proof certificate (Age between 21 to 55 years)
(iii) Recent Income certificate issued by the Tahsildar concerned who has less than Rs. 2.00 lakhs for urban and Rs. 1.50 lakhs for rural areas/White Ration Card.
(iv) Aadhar Card
(v) Educational qualifications if any
(vi) Passport size photos – 3
(vii) The applicant must be an unemployee
(viii) Must be a resident of Telangana State.


b) IDENTIFICATION OF BENEFICIARIES: The District Officers shall call for the application by way of notification issued through print and electronic media. The applicant submits their application manually. In respect of non bank linked scheme where the unit cost is upto Rs.50,000/- the selection of beneficiaries shall be done by District Level Committee formed by the District Collector with the following officers a) Additional Collector: Chairman b) DWO / AD: Member-Convener c) DRDO: Member d) ED SC Corporation e) PD, MEPMA: Member


c) GROUNDING OF THE UNITS AND MONITORING: The District Welfare Officers/Assistant Director, WD&SC, Hyderabad shall submit the utilization certificate alongwith photograph of the unit after grounding the unit. The above proposal of Economic Support Scheme is approved and hereby accord permission for n amount of Rs. 82.50 lakhs for releasing to (32) DWOs and AD, Hyderabad for implementing the scheme.


d) SUBMISSION OF UTILIZATION CERTIFICATE: The District Welfare Officers/Assistant Director, WD&SC, Hyderabad shall submit the utilization certificate alongwith photograph of the unit after grounding the unit. The above proposal of Economic Support Scheme is approved and hereby accord permission for n amount of Rs. 82.50 lakhs for releasing to (32) DWOs and AD, Hyderabad for implementing the scheme.
